Please join ecologists from the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program for a leisurely walk to observe the spring flora in the floodplain forest of the Agawamuck Creek and along the forested slopes of Phudd Hill. Learn how to identify some of our common and not-so-common spring ephemerals, observe their insect visitors, and hear their lore. Participation is free, but space is limited. Plan to stay a while after the walk to watch the students dance around the may pole at the May Day Celebration of Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School.
